A 61-year-old pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the early hours of Sunday.<\/p>\n
South Wales Police<\/a> issued notice of a road closure for New Cut Road in Swansea<\/a> city centre just after 3am following reports a car had struck a pedestrian. The road remained closed for around three hours as paramedics were called to the scene.<\/p>\n The pedestrian was taken to hospital where his injuries were not deemed life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “Officers were called to New Cut Road, Swansea at around 3.15am on Sunday, June 8, following a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.<\/p>\n “The pedestrian, a 61-year-old man from Landore, has been taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n “A road closure was put in place.
