Britain\u2019s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden<\/a> became emotional in the first minutes of Saturday\u2019s Britain\u2019s Got Talent instalment in a \u201cmassive surprise\u201d moment. <\/p>\n

The 54-year-old presenter and her fellow judges were met with an unorthodox audition.<\/p>\n

This weekend’s episode began with Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli strutting the red carpet as part of series 18\u2019s photocall back in January this year. <\/p>\n

Suddenly, the cheering crowd burst into song leaving the four completely bowled over. <\/p>\n

The judges were surprised by an act hidden in the red carpet crowd <\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

An astonished Ant McPartlin asked from the sidelines: \u201cIs it an act? I think it\u2019s an act!\u201d <\/p>\n

Holden, who had been striking a pose for the cameras, appeared to get emotional as the throngs of people around her delivered their rendition of the Electric Light Orchestra\u2019s Mr Blue Sky. <\/p>\n

\u201cOh my god! It\u2019s making me quite tearful,\u201d she exclaimed <\/p>\n

Turning to an astonished Cowell, she said: \u201cThis is so good! Is it an audition?\u201d <\/p>\n

Holden became emotional during the performance <\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

The 54-year-old wiped away tears as she watched in amazement. <\/p>\n

The crowd was soon revealed to be members of the nearly 300 strong Pop Voices Choir, with members ranging from ages nine to 92. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s for anyone that just loves to sing. We\u2019re an exclusive choir. I want to encourage that worldwide, and it would be really nice to win,\u201d the choir leader detailed. <\/p>\n

“What a massive surprise,” Holden glowed, adding: “I felt really tearful when you all started singing. It was absolutely gorgeous.” <\/p>\n

Dixon agreed, saying: “What a lovely surprise. A colourful, joyful burst of loveliness. Well done.”<\/p>\n

“Absolutely! You make me feel hot, and it’s freezing! Unbelievable,\u201d thundered Tonioli.<\/p>\n

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were summoned to the red carpet to deliver their verdict on the performance.<\/p>\n

The choir revived the judges, and hosts, approval with six yeses <\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

In the end, the choir was given an unheard of six yeses from the judges and hosts. Some viewers were similarly impressed by the act and took to social media to share their thoughts.<\/p>\n

\u201cBGT. The show that never runs out of surprises. Well done, love it,\u201d one wrote. <\/p>\n

Another agreed, simply calling the act: \u201cAmazing.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNow that’s what you call a choir #BritainsGotTalent,\u201d a third celebrated. <\/p>\n

However, other fans were less than impressed with yet another choir on the show. <\/p>\n

\u201c#bgt This recycling of the same things must stop, we don’t want to see other choirs, we don’t want to see other singers, we want to see different talents #britainsgottalent,\u201d one despaired. <\/p>\n
