Royal expert weighs in on King Charles reaction to Meghan Markle’s clip<\/p>\n
Recently, Meghan Markle sparked quite a storm on the internet when she posted a clip of twerking while pregnant with Princess Lilibet.<\/p>\n
Amid the controversy, King Charles so far did not break his silence, but a royal expert said he would be “horrified.”<\/p>\n
“The hours before you give birth are some of the most personal, intimate, and private in the lives of any couple,” Jennie Bond told The Mirror.<\/p>\n
“And women are perfectly entitled to do whatever they feel like to get through the waiting and the pain. Giving birth is a serious business, and anything to lighten the mood is welcome,” she continued.<\/p>\n
“However – to share those scenes with the world is utterly bizarre and, in my view, takes away all the magic of the moment. I cannot imagine why she chose to release it,” the ex-BBC’s royal correspondent said.<\/p>\n
“Maybe show it one day to your nearest and dearest\u2014 but to anyone and everyone who wants to click on it?”<\/p>\n
Jennie added, “I can hear the voice of the late Queen\u2019s former private secretary, Lord Charteris, repeating the comments he once made about Fergie: ‘Vulgar, vulgar, vulgar.'”<\/p>\n
“If the King has watched it, which I doubt, though he can\u2019t have missed the headlines, I\u2019m sure he would be horrified. Royalty has to carry with it some measure of dignity,” she concluded.<\/p>\n
