Gogglebox\u2019s Manchester family have announced on social media that a \u2018heartbreaking\u2019 death has occurred.<\/p>\n

The family have been on the Channel 4 <\/a>programme for over a decade, providing hilarious reactions to the best TV moments of the week.<\/p>\n

Consisting of Tom, Julie, Tom Jnr and Shaun, the family are one of the most popular to emerge from the lighthearted Friday night show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While they joined the cast as a family all the way back in 2014, Tom Jnr left to pursue other projects in 2021.<\/p>\n

Tom and Julie’s daughter, Vanessa, has occasionally made appearances. Away from Gogglebox<\/a>, Tom Sr works as a lorry driver, while Julie is a receptionist. As for Tom Jnr, he has worked as a freelance model and street dance choreographer.<\/p>\n

Known for their love of dogs, the family have been joined by the likes of Lucy, Dave, Izzy, Joe and Bob over the years.<\/p>\n

With Lucy passing away in 2022 and Dave in 2023, the Malones have announced that Bob died over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Tom Jnr broke the news on social media(Image: Instagram: @tommalonejr)<\/p>\n

Confirming the news on his Instagram account, Tom Jnr wrote alongside a series of images: \u201cGood boy Bob\u2026.Rest easy big man.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post of her own, Julie paid a candid tribute to Bob, sharing an image of the late dog wearing an adorable suit.<\/p>\n

She captioned her post: \u201cToday we said goodbye to our beautiful protective Bobby, he spent his last day doing what he loved, watching over the grandchildren playing in the garden.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are heartbroken. RIP our beautiful Big Bob xx\u201d<\/p>\n

The comments section of both posts saw the family\u2019s Gogglebox colleagues<\/a> and fans sending their support during their time of grieving.<\/p>\n

@ellie__warner said: \u201cSo sorry to hear about Bobby, run free over the rainbow bridge.\u201d @izziwarner added: \u201cSending you all lots of love.\u201d<\/p>\n
