Kyle Jackson, 16, was with his two friends in Midlothian when they spotted the mysterious floating object<\/a> at around 11.10pm on Friday, June 6.<\/p>\n The trio were walking near Newbattle High School in Easthouses when they looked up – and they couldn’t believe their eyes at what they saw.<\/p>\n A black object, which was round and ‘completely silent’, appeared to be moving quickly below the clouds.<\/p>\n Kyle says the object<\/a> was moving faster than a plane and had a red light beaming from beneath – and he’s since been left stumped at what it could have been.<\/p>\n Speaking to the Record, Kyle said: “Me and two other friends were walking up a path in the Midlothian area near Edinburgh next to the local high school when we all glanced up and seen the flying object<\/a>.<\/p>\n “At first sight a red\/orange light was beaming from underneath the aircraft<\/a>.<\/p>\n “After around five seconds of us looking at it the light turned off.<\/p>\n “It was travelling a lot faster than a plane<\/a> at around the same height as a plane, it was also the same size as a plane or bigger.”<\/p>\n In footage shared with the Record the black object<\/a> can be seen in the sky above a residential area.<\/p>\n Kyle says he and his friends were left puzzled at what it could be – and they’ve now come to the conclusion that the only explanation is alien activity<\/a>.<\/p>\n He added: “All three of us felt shocked and in disbelief as we had never seen anything like it.<\/p>\n “It was completely silent so it couldn\u2019t have been a plane, jet or helicopter. It also wasn\u2019t a drone as it was too big and was too fast. It was also clearly round as well.<\/p>\n “The whole situation felt surreal, like something out of a movie. Even after I had got home I was still in awe – I was confused and in disbelief at what I had seen.<\/p>\n “I did some research and couldn\u2019t find anything close to what we had seen.
