Some of Bristol\u2019s most famous street artists are coming together to hold a paint festival, where the canvases are shipping containers that have been converted into homes.<\/p>\n

The HBH Paint Fest is being held at Help Bristol\u2019s Homeless headquarters in Bedminster<\/a> next month, and will feature many of the city\u2019s most famous artists whose careers with the spray can date back almost 40 years.<\/p>\n

The likes of Inkie, Jody, Andy Council, Cheba and Paul Monsters have painted all over the city and are responsible for some of the most popular works of art in Bristol.<\/p>\n

And now they are giving the HBH base at Spring Street<\/a> a colourful spruce-up in a free-to-enter event.<\/p>\n

The Paint Fest takes place over the weekend of May 10 and 11, each day between 10am and 4pm. Other artists taking part include Miss Peggy Brown, Dibbz, Pekeo, Andrew Burns Colwill, Joe Greenway, Mural Mind, Lee Fade Raw, Jenks Art, Shade One, the Art of Sok, Mind 49 and many more.<\/p>\n

The idea behind Help Bristol\u2019s Homeless<\/a> is that people sleeping rough on the streets are referred to HBH and stay in one of more than 35 shipping containers that have been converted into micro-flats, while getting back on their feet and learning trades by converting more shipping containers.<\/p>\n

The charity has been backed by everyone from Massive Attack to the John Lewis Partnership since it began back in 2016.<\/p>\n
