So why is Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann still upbeat?<\/p>\n<p id=\"6xXiYU\">\u201cGiven the chances and the course of the game, [the result] was undeserved,\u201d Nagelsmann said in comments captured by <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/iMiaSanMia\/status\/1931745525641986456\">@iMiaSanMia<\/a>. \u201cWe should have taken the lead based on our chances, but we have to put the ball over the line ourselves. Our attacking players like Karim Adeyemi and Nick Woltemade still need to mature at this level; unfortunately, our finishing quality wasn\u2019t good today. It\u2019s important that we create chances, but we also have to finish them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"zwMuTZ\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfb.de\/news\/nagelsmann-wir-haben-es-insgesamt-gut-gemacht\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DFB.de<\/a> captured more.<\/p>\n<p id=\"Ny6Uof\">\u201cIn the second half, it was a bit of a harakiri; of course, you also get a counterattack,\u201d Nagelsmann continued, adding: \u201cOverall, we did well&#8230;.Today\u2019s game was good, not in terms of the result, but in terms of our performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"KgBjUz\">Optimism seems like the right tone to strike after a tough series of games \u2014 particularly one featuring young guns who have much more club and national team development ahead of them.
