{"id":169000,"date":"2025-06-09T01:18:03","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T01:18:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/169000\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T01:18:03","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T01:18:03","slug":"manchester-united-are-looking-at-a-summer-deal-for-as-romas-ever-present-defender-evan-ndicka-man-united-news-and-transfer-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/169000\/","title":{"rendered":"Manchester United are looking at a summer deal for AS Roma&#8217;s ever-present defender Evan Ndicka &#8211; Man United News And Transfer News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t1<\/p>\n<p>Manchester United\u2019s defence has lost two experienced heads in the form of Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans, and if funds permit, Ruben Amorim could do with reinforcements.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention Luke Shaw\u2019s injury record and the fitness issues of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez, who could also be <a href=\"https:\/\/thepeoplesperson.com\/2025\/04\/08\/ruben-amorim-has-long-term-doubts-over-lisandro-martinezs-suitability-in-a-back-three-system-292677\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">set for a positional change<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Long-term target Evan Ndicka seems to be back on the club\u2019s radar after a splendid season for AS Roma, with <a href=\"https:\/\/rmcsport.bfmtv.com\/football\/transferts\/direct-mercato-suivez-en-live-toutes-les-infos-et-rumeurs-du-5-juin-2024_LN-202506050147.html#article_397242\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RMC Sport<\/a> claiming the Red Devils have made inquiries about the Ivorian\u2019s availability this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Last term, the 25-year-old played 51 times for the Serie A side, helping keep 19 clean sheets while also contributing with a goal and two assists.<\/p>\n<p>Evan Ndicka was a revelation last season for AS Roma<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he was so important for the Giallorossi that he played 90 minutes in all league games, a feat not achieved by any other Roma outfield player since 2004.<\/p>\n<p>The report also mentioned Tottenham Hotspur\u2019s interest in the former Eintracht Frankfurt ace, with Roma valuing him at \u20ac40 million.<\/p>\n<p>The centre-back will assess all the projects presented to his camp before taking a final call. His left-footed profile is just what Ruben Amorim needs while he excels in a back-three system but a deal will depend on the funds available.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a great season at AS Roma, with whom he is under contract until 2028, Ivorian international defender Evan Ndicka (25) has caught the eye of Premier League teams.<\/p>\n<p>United, Spurs both fighting for the defender<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTottenham and Manchester United have made inquiries about the Parisian native, who trained at Auxerre. Ndicka, valued at \u20ac40 million, will take the time to consider the offers and projects presented.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is well known that INEOS have prioritised improving the team\u2019s attack this window, after which they will look for a <a href=\"https:\/\/thepeoplesperson.com\/2025\/06\/01\/manchester-united-will-target-a-new-midfielder-for-ruben-amorim-but-only-on-loan-294868\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost-effective midfield solution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If funds are still available at that stage will defensive reinforcements be sought.
