A man died after falling from The Cube on June 7<\/p>\n
A worker at a business at The Mailbox told BirminghamLive: “There were a lot of police here, along with ambulances and a fire truck.<\/p>\n
“We’d heard he had fallen from a terrace, it’s so sad.”<\/p>\n
A shocked resident said: “My heart goes out to the man’s family. It’s utterly tragic.”<\/p>\n
One post on Facebook read: “May he rest in peace. Can’t imagine how his family must be feeling right now.”<\/p>\n
In a statement, police said: “Our officers are currently in attendance at The Cube in Wharfside Street dealing with an incident.<\/p>\n
“We were called shortly after 6.30pm (on Saturday) after reports of a man falling from one of the upper floors.<\/p>\n
“Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
“The man’s family are aware and they are being supported by officers.<\/p>\n
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.”<\/p>\n

The Cube said today: “We can confirm that all venues within The Cube are open and are operating as usual.<\/p>\n
“We\u2019d like to thank our residents, visitors, and partners for their patience and understanding whilst we dealt with yesterday\u2019s incident. We look forward to welcoming you back.”<\/p>\n
In a statement posted on Facebook last night, The Cube said: “(On Saturday), a serious incident occurred at The Cube Birmingham.<\/p>\n
“Emergency services attended the scene and continue to carry out a full investigation.<\/p>\n
“We are fully co-operating with the authorities and will continue to follow their guidance.<\/p>\n
“We understand this may be distressing and our thoughts are with all those affected by today’s events.<\/p>\n
