The Cube confirmed all venues were open as normal today, Sunday, June 8.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/0_cube2JPG.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>A man died after falling from The Cube on June 7<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A worker at a business at The Mailbox told BirminghamLive: &#8220;There were a lot of police here, along with ambulances and a fire truck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We&#8217;d heard he had fallen from a terrace, it&#8217;s so sad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A shocked resident said: &#8220;My heart goes out to the man&#8217;s family. It&#8217;s utterly tragic.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">One post on Facebook read: &#8220;May he rest in peace. Can&#8217;t imagine how his family must be feeling right now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In a statement, police said: &#8220;Our officers are currently in attendance at The Cube in Wharfside Street dealing with an incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We were called shortly after 6.30pm (on Saturday) after reports of a man falling from one of the upper floors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The man&#8217;s family are aware and they are being supported by officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The man&#8217;s death is not being treated as suspicious.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/0_cube3JPG.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>A general view of The Cube from the canalside (Image: BirminghamLive)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The Cube said today: &#8220;We can confirm that all venues within The Cube are open and are operating as usual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We\u2019d like to thank our residents, visitors, and partners for their patience and understanding whilst we dealt with yesterday\u2019s incident.
