Liverpool<\/a> are preparing a \u20ac120m (\u00a3101m) offer to sign Newcastle United<\/a> striker Alexander Isak this summer, Fichajes<\/a> has claimed.<\/p>\n

The Premier League<\/a> winners have been closely monitoring the Sweden international for months and are reportedly ready to present a \u2018significant\u2019 proposal to make him Arne Slot\u2019s new number nine next season.<\/p>\n

Fichajes claims the Reds remain informed on Isak\u2019s situation at St James\u2019 Park, as Newcastle are keen to extend his contract, which runs until June 2028.<\/p>\n

Liverpool would reportedly be prepared to move quickly if contract negotiations do not come to fruition, having identified him as a key player in this summer\u2019s attacking rebuild.<\/p>\n

According to Fichajes, Liverpool\u2019s offer of \u20ac120m for Isak would include a \u20ac100m fixed fee and around \u20ac20m in performance-based add-ons.<\/p>\n

The Reds are likely to target a new number nine this summer if Darwin Nunez departs amid recent links with a move to the Saudi Pro League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Isak, praised as \u2018world-class\u2019<\/a>, enjoyed another prolific campaign at St James\u2019 Park this season, scoring 27 goals and providing six assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.<\/p>\n

He finished as the Premier League\u2019s second-highest goalscorer with 23 goals, behind only Liverpool\u2019s Mohamed Salah, who netted 29.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have already announced Jeremie Frimpong as their first summer arrival and remain focused on two more early signings to further bolster Slot\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

The Reds are in advanced talks to sign Bournemouth full-back Milos Kerkez<\/a> and remain keen on landing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz in what would be a club-record deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
