assaulted on a train before commuters intervened.<\/p>\n<p>A man sat next to a woman who was on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/travel\/31975356\/elizabeth-line-down-status-updates-london-underground\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Line<\/a> on May 16 and assaulted Line after Stratford stationCredit: Alamy<\/p>\n<p>She shouted at him to stop, and the thug hit her in the face.<\/p>\n<p>Other passengers bravely leapt to her defence and pushed him away.<\/p>\n<p>He was on the Tube from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/travel\/30668484\/eurostar-trains-new-uk-station-paris\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stratford <\/a>station to Forest Gate.<\/p>\n<p>Cops have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection to the horror assault.<\/p>\n<p>He has short cropped hair and a cream bodywarmer, jeans and grey trainers.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 727 of 16 May.<\/p>\n<p>Information can also be given anonymously
