This explosive and joyous five-star show, which has captivated audiences worldwide, will be performed at Pleasance Courtyard (Grand) from 9\u201323 August (excluding 13 and 20 August) at 13:15.<\/p>\n<p>A moving and hauntingly beautiful exploration of memory and identity,\u00a0The Nature of Forgetting\u00a0follows 55-year-old Tom, who is living with early-onset dementia. As he prepares for his birthday party, Tom is swept into a vivid journey through his past\u2014reliving first kisses, wedding days, and the fleeting moments that shape a life. The production uses Theatre Re\u2019s signature blend of visual theatre and original live music to portray the fragility of memory and the enduring essence of human connection.<\/p>\n<p>Devised in collaboration with the Alzheimer\u2019s Society and Neuroscience Professor Kate Jeffery, the show bridges science and storytelling to offer a powerful reflection on what remains when memory fades.
