Harvey Elliott has been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old won the Premier League<\/a> with his boyhood club, however, his role was limited as he remained an option on the bench behind Mohamed Salah<\/a> and Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He only made 18 league appearances, 16 as a substitute, scoring just one and assisting two. His impact in Europe was much more significant, as he made five appearances and scored three.<\/p>\n

With strong competition for a spot in the starting XI, it is not likely that the player will seek a move away from Liverpool this summer and Elliott <\/a>may have already given a hint. <\/p>\n

Elliott, who is on international duty with the England squad for the European Under-21 Championship, opened up about his future at Liverpool<\/a>. <\/p>\n

He admitted that while he loves Liverpool, he might have to be mature about it and consider leaving the club to be the best possible version of himself. <\/p>\n

Speaking to Hayters TV, he said: \u201cI think it\u2019s just a situation that me and you know the team on on my behalf have to have a conversation about.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know I\u2019m coming into an age now where you know I\u2019m 22 I\u2019m going to be 23 next season and you know I don\u2019t really want to be wasting years of my career because it\u2019s a short career. You don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen like injuries and things and you know it could shorten it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s a situation that as I\u2019ve said before I need to reflect. I need to see if you know I\u2019m content in doing what I\u2019m doing and how can I improve you know as a player.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the most important thing. That\u2019s the main thing really. I just want to improve and be the best possible version of myself and the best player I can be.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if that\u2019s to go somewhere else, then you know, it\u2019s a decision that I\u2019m going to have to make. And you know, I just need to see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Newcastle and Wolves among clubs interested in Harvey Elliott <\/p>\n

Several clubs have shown interest in the player valued at \u00a340m<\/a>. Among them are Newcastle who are reportedly plotting a move for Elliott<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that Liverpool are actively discussing selling Elliott<\/a>, with suggestions that they will not stand in the player\u2019s way if an offer comes for him.<\/p>\n

Wolves are another club interested in Elliott<\/a>, with the club backed to sign the young Lion as replacement for Matheus Cunha who left to join Man United<\/a>. <\/p>\n

It remains to be seen where the player\u2019s future lies, with plenty of interest early on in the transfer window. <\/p>\n
