{"id":170076,"date":"2025-06-09T11:07:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T11:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170076\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T11:07:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T11:07:10","slug":"loads-of-new-homes-to-be-built-on-site-of-destroyed-glasgow-tower-blocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170076\/","title":{"rendered":"Loads of new homes to be built on site of destroyed Glasgow tower blocks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hundreds of new homes will be built in Glasgow on the site of several tower blocks that were destroyed more than 10 years ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Property developer, Keepmoat, has committed to investing \u00a359.9million into the next phase of the Sighthill Transformation Regeneration Area (TRA).<\/p>\n<p>The housebuilder announced it will create an additional 246 new homes at the multi-million-pound NorthBridge development on Pinkston Road, following the success of the first phase that created 154 homes.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the works, Keepmoat will deliver another multi-tenure community, with more than 41 new homes being made available for the local housing association, Wheatley Homes Glasgow (WHG).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the firm is also working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk\/topics\/glasgow-city-council\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Glasgow City Council;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Glasgow City Council<\/a> to create &#8216;enhanced and new transport links, green space, and walking and cycling routes&#8217;
