{"id":170268,"date":"2025-06-09T12:49:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T12:49:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170268\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T12:49:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T12:49:08","slug":"ebrd-vice-president-mark-bowman-to-visit-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170268\/","title":{"rendered":"EBRD Vice President Mark Bowman to visit Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Mark Bowman, EBRD Vice President, Policy and Partnerships, to visit Ukraine <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Three-day trip to Kyiv will include meetings with officials, partners and clients <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>EBRD has made more than \u20ac7 billion of financing available to Ukraine in wartime<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/home\/who-we-are\/our-organisation\/ebrd-governance-leadership\/ebrd-executive-committee\/mark-bowman.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Bowman<\/a>, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)\u2019s Vice President, Policy and Partnerships, will visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/home\/what-we-do\/where-we-invest\/ukraine.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ukraine<\/a> this week on a two-day trip to meet officials, partners and clients in Kyiv. The EBRD is Ukraine\u2019s largest institutional investor. <\/p>\n<p>Mr Bowman\u2019s visit comes ahead of the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome in July, at which Ukraine\u2019s partners will discuss plans for coordinating reconstruction and support of the country. <\/p>\n<p>He will meet First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko, Environment Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk, First Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksii Sobolev, First Deputy Minister at the Ministry for Development Alyona Shkrum, as well as Andrii Pyshnyy, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine and Business Ombudsman Roman Waschuk.  <\/p>\n<p>While in Kyiv, he will also meet clients and international partners and attend a roundtable on the \u20ac110 million war risk insurance programme launched last year by the EBRD in partnership with global insurance and reinsurance broker Aon to support businesses transporting cargo in Ukraine, which is now fully operational.  <\/p>\n<p>Mr Bowman will take part in a roundtable on governance and meet experts from the Ukraine Reforms Architecture programme, which supports the Ukrainian government in facilitating the transition to a modern, effective and efficient public administration through Reform Support Teams embedded in key ministries. <\/p>\n<p>The EBRD has strongly supported Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale war there in 2022.  <\/p>\n<p>The Bank has made more than \u20ac7 billion available to the country since Russia launched its full-scale war there in 2022.
