{"id":170736,"date":"2025-06-09T16:54:11","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T16:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170736\/"},"modified":"2025-06-09T16:54:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T16:54:11","slug":"woman-in-hospital-after-trying-to-break-up-pub-fight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/170736\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman in hospital after trying to break up pub fight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A total of four people were attacked<\/p>\n<p>16:54, 09 Jun 2025Updated 17:09, 09 Jun 2025<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/0_BRI_PG_140525oldfield_park-15.jpg\" alt=\"File picture of police \" loading=\"eager\"  \/>File picture of police (Image: PAUL GILLIS \/ Reach PLC)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A woman was rushed to hospital with multiple broken bones after being attacked at a pub near Bristol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Police and ambulance crews were called to the pub at Warmley during the early hours of Saturday morning, June 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A man attacked three men, punching them in the face, before a woman intervened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The man then attacked the woman, pushing her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She suffered broken bones and was taken to hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">At the time of reporting, she remains in hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A man police would like to speak to is described as being white and roughly 5ft 9ins tall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">He has dark blue hair and blue eyes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">At the time of the attack, the man is believed to have been wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Three male victims are also being asked to come forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: &#8220;The ambulance service called us at around 12.40am on Saturday (7 June) following an assault at a pub in Warmley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The suspect was reported to punch three men in the face before pushing a woman who attempted to intervene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The female victim has sustained broken bones following the assault and remains in hospital receiving medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The suspect is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair and blue eyes.
