It’s driven by data, planning and people who help power our local economy. One of the ways the City gathers this information is through its annual Employment Survey. Since 2001, the City has conducted an annual employment survey by sending out a team to canvass Mississauga’s businesses. This helps get the most accurate data possible about the City’s business community. The survey captures important data about the number, location, and types of businesses and jobs within Mississauga. The results help inform everything from infrastructure planning to economic strategies, and support the City’s goal to ensure Mississauga is a place where businesses of all sizes can succeed.

2025 Employment Survey

The 2025 Employment Survey is now underway. If you are a business located in Mississauga, you may be contacted during an in-person site visit from now until August, or via phone or email. You can also take the survey online by visiting the Employment Survey webpage. Your input supports local planning, infrastructure, and economic growth.
