It may not seem like much, but this thoughtful gesture is actually a well-known trick used to help children feel more seen, heard and comfortable. By physically lowering herself to the child\u2019s level, Duchess Sophie reduces any sense of authority or dominance, which helps foster open and relaxed communication. <\/p>\n

And this isn\u2019t the first time we\u2019ve seen Sophie use it.
