Bruce Springsteen’s<\/a> incredible Anfield gig on Saturday was extra special for one couple who got engaged during the show. The Boss brought his Land of Hope and Dreams tour to Merseyside last week with two unforgettable shows.<\/p>\n The show will certainly live long in the memory for one happy couple, who marked Saturday’s concert in heartfelt style. As the 75-year-old closed out the first section of his performance with Thunder Road, a man at the very front of the pit decided to propose to his partner.<\/p>\n The emotional moment was captured by K’s Boutique and Beauty who has since shared the footage on TIkTok<\/a>. She said: “This beautiful couple got engaged last night at Bruce Springsteen concert.<\/p>\n “What a moment, let\u2019s share this and like this video so we can find them guys am so glad I caught this on camera congratulations to you both what an experience and memory.” After he spotted the engagement, Springsteen <\/a>stopped to embrace and congratulate the couple.<\/p>\n After shaking the hands of more front row fans, he looped back around as he retuned to the stage to gift the couple with a special harmonica to cap off the beautiful moment. The Born in the USA singer brought the curtain down on his time in Liverpool with a special reunion on stage with Sir Paul McCartney during the encore.<\/p>\n The crowd were in disbelief as Springsteen introduced the iconic Beatle to the stage. He told the crowd: “We are lucky tonight we have a young man, a local young man from Liverpool who is going to be a guest for us tonight.<\/p>\n “I think he’s got a lot of talent and I believe he’s going to be going places. So let’s bring out Sir Paul McCartney.” The music icons performed a version of Can’t Buy Me Love and Kansas City in the amazing surprise set.<\/p>\n As Sir Paul departed the stage following his first performance in his home city for seven years, he said: “Thank you Scousers.” Springsteen said it was a dream come true to perform with Sir Paul in Liverpool.<\/p>\n He told the crowd: “Being in Liverpool and playing with a Beatle – that’s one of my dreams come true, right there.” Springsteen was heavily shaped by The Beatles and hailed the Fab Four’s influence <\/a>at the top of the show.<\/p>\n He said: “Without this town there would be no E Street band.” The Boss also paid homage to his surroundings at the home of Liverpool FC as he referenced the Reds’ Premier League<\/a> title win. During Wrecking Ball, he said: “Is this the house of champions?”<\/p>\n After Sir Paul left the stage, Springsteen and the E-Street band paid another special tribute to The Beatles with a performance of Twist and Shout. The song was originally released by The Top Notes, but become synonymous with the Fab Four after their 1963 cover version.<\/p>\n
