A drug dealer who supplied crack cocaine and heroin is behind bars.<\/p>\n

Samba Faal, nicknamed Smuggzy, ran the illegal ‘Menace Line’ between April and July last year in Coventry until it was intercepted by West Midlands Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n

County Lines Taskforce officers discovered bulk messages showing the availability of the ‘Menace Line’ to supply heroin and cocaine, along with prices.<\/p>\n

Communication data found that sim swapping the drugs line often took place with Faal\u2019s personal phone that would coincide with Faal\u2019s location.<\/p>\n

The line could often be traced through communication data and CCTV travelling with Faal in an Uber that had been booked using an account that was registered with his email and nickname \u2018Smuggzy.\u2019<\/p>\n

CCTV footage was also retrieved showing Faal purchasing a top up for the drug line.<\/p>\n

Last October, officers executed a warrant at an address linked to Faal where he was arrested.<\/p>\n

A phone linked to the drugs line, which in itself was worth \u00a3160k, was also discovered during a search together with \u00a31,000 of suspected criminal cash, several mobile phones and sim cards.<\/p>\n

Faal, aged 26, of Holmfield Road, Coventry, pleaded guilty to running the drugs network.<\/p>\n

He was sentenced to five years for being concerned in supplying class A drugs at Warwickshire<\/a> Justice Centre last Thursday (5 June).<\/p>\n

Detective Constable David Cockbill, from our County Lines Taskforce, said: “Faal was a key supplier of drugs in Coventry. \u201cOur work in bringing down drug lines across the region does not stop at enforcement.<\/p>\n
