But what cuts the deepest is Harry\u2019s treatment of Catherine. She\u2019s always loved him, always treated him like a little brother. That\u2019s the betrayal William won\u2019t forget.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The once-warm relationship between <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\/news\/world\/security-scare-at-kate-williams-windsor-castle-man-arrested-for-trespassing-and-drugs-after-entering-royal-grounds-11748966617608.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Kate\" rel=\"noopener\">Kate<\/a> and Harry is said to have soured following his public criticism of the royal family. \u201cCatherine and Harry shared a fun humour and were often seen giggling together at events,\u201d said British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut she was dragged into the negative narrative, which was a real smack round the face for a kind sister-in-law who tried to be the peacemaker,\u201d Helena added.<\/p>\n<p>Chard added that Kate was genuinely pleased when Harry found love with <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livemint.com\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"Meghan Markle\" rel=\"noopener\">Meghan Markle<\/a>, and embraced the new dynamic. \u201cShe was thrilled that Prince Harry seemed genuinely happy,\u201d Chard noted. \u201cBut now, she [silently] cannot understand why he still won\u2019t bite his tongue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Royal experts also claim that Prince William and Prince Harry are not currently in contact.
