{"id":172037,"date":"2025-06-10T04:32:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T04:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/172037\/"},"modified":"2025-06-10T04:32:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T04:32:08","slug":"andy-murray-opens-door-to-coaching-return-after-novak-djokovic-split","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/172037\/","title":{"rendered":"Andy Murray opens door to coaching return after Novak Djokovic split"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a data-player-guid=\"1c5a586b-edce-71a2-50c2-e42bf12417c8\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/sports\/tennis\/players\/profile?playerId=235\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andy Murray<\/a> has not ruled out a return to coaching after his partnership with <a data-player-guid=\"4a27bb1c-2422-55c3-208b-9e9d8c1f30af\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/sports\/tennis\/players\/profile?playerId=296\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Novak Djokovic<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/tennis\/story\/_\/id\/45123381\/andy-murray-novak-djokovic-end-coaching-partnership-early\" target=\"_blank\">ended<\/a> after just six months.<\/p>\n<p>Murray, who retired last summer after the 2024 Paris Olympics, had worked with Djokovic at the Australian Open among other tournaments.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would do it again at some stage. I don&#8217;t think that will happen immediately,&#8221; Murray told the BBC at the Queen&#8217;s Club on Monday where the famous ground&#8217;s centre court was named in his honour.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wasn&#8217;t planning on going into coaching as soon as I finished playing but it was a pretty unique opportunity. We got to spend some really nice moments away from the court. Results weren&#8217;t as we wanted but we gave it a go.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Murray has been spending more time on the golf course than the tennis courts since he retired.
