Prince Harry reportedly tried to send a message to the members of the Royal family, especially his father King Charles, after he made a shocking move. <\/p>\n
According to reports, the Duke of Sussex asked his uncle, Earl Spencer, for advice regarding changing his surname to Spencer, his mother Princess Diana\u2019s maiden name. <\/p>\n
A friend of Harry told Daily Mail, “They had a very amicable conversation and Spencer advised him against taking such a step.”<\/p>\n
Speaking on the matter, royal expert Charles Rae told The Sun, \u201cI think as well that this is another Harry not knowing what he wants to do. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt was only less than a month ago that he was pleading for a reconciliation with his father and his brother,” he added, referring to Harry’s interview with BBC.<\/p>\n
Rae continued, \u201cAnd the next thing we hear, and I think the story was well sourced, he wants to change the name from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, that is sending a terrible message to the royal family that he doesn’t really want a reconciliation. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe wants to be completely severed from the royal family. And I think the king should grant his wish. I think he should sever him from the royal family.\u201d<\/p>\n
To this, royal correspondent Sarah Hewson speculated that maybe the Duke of Sussex wanted to \u201csend a message\u201d to the royal family. <\/p>\n
\u201cIs it to say, \u2018ok, fine, you don’t want to talk to us, then we’re not a part of this anymore,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cIs it because he feels much closer to his Spencer relatives?\u201d<\/p>\n
