Three restaurants in and around Birmingham have been listed among best in the UK at a top awards ceremony.<\/p>\n

The National Restaurant Awards was launched in 2007 as a way to celebrate the UK’s best chefs and restaurants.<\/p>\n

This year, London dominated the rankings with 15 of the top 20 restaurants located in the capital.<\/p>\n

The city was home to this year’s winner, The Ritz, named the number one restaurant in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Listed in 31st place, Nottingham’s Sat Bains claimed bragging rights as the ‘best restaurant’ in the Midlands.<\/p>\n

In terms of the West Midlands, Grace and Savour was picked the best restaurant in the region, finishing in 44th place.<\/p>\n

The fine dining countryside retreat in Hampton-in-Arden has retained its Michelin star since 2023 and promotes sustainable British farming as part of the menu.<\/p>\n

Opheem was not far behind with the Indian restaurant listed in 48th place.<\/p>\n

Another Michelin star restaurant, Aktar Islam’s attracts many famous faces through the door, including pop star Michael Bubl\u00e9.<\/a><\/p>\n

The final West Midlands restaurant featured in the annual list was Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, ranked 82nd.<\/p>\n

The Michelin Star restaurant in Lichfield<\/a> is currently booked until January at the earliest as people flock to the cathedral city for fantastic food.<\/p>\n
