Manchester United\u2019s pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo means that Ineos will have to give up on other top transfer targets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ineos wasted no time confirming the arrival of Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Wolves this summer, and now negotiations are underway for Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> to follow him to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> is looking to overhaul his entire attack with a new striker also needed this summer.<\/p>\n

Brentford value Mbeumo at around \u00a360m<\/a>, so while United are trying to lower the fee, the 25-year-old\u2019s signature will still take a big bite out of the summer budget.<\/p>\n

Cunha and Mbeumo will solve United\u2019s lack of depth at the No.10 positions, so Ineos appear ready to give up on the likes of Tyler Dibling<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Heading into the summer window, Dibling was a top target for United<\/a> following his extraordinary breakthrough season at Southampton.<\/p>\n

Incredibly, Southampton valued Dibling at \u00a3100m<\/a>, considering him as one of the best young talents in English football.<\/p>\n

Dibling was tipped to thrive at United<\/a> if he made the move to Old Trafford this summer, and it seemed as though newly-appointed sporting director Jason Wilcox was eager to make it happen.<\/p>\n

Wilcox is a huge admirer of Dibling<\/a> having worked with the teenage winger during their time together at Southampton. However, it seems Wilcox has decided to give up on Dibling and instead target Mbeumo.<\/p>\n

Unlike Dibling, Mbeumo is in his prime at Brentford and will arrive at United as one of the most prolific scorers and creators in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

United backing out of the race means that rivals Tottenham or Newcastle United could swoop for Dibling this summer, but that is clearly a risk that Ineos and Wilcox are willing to take.<\/p>\n

Since the Ineos takeover, there has been a noticeable push to sign more youth players who can develop into superstars.<\/p>\n

Dibling ticks those boxes, but United are also trying to get away from paying superstar fees<\/a> in the transfer window and Southampton\u2019s asking price simply made a deal impossible.<\/p>\n

For a cheaper price, United are chasing Mbeumo, who has proven himself to be a star in the Premier League and at 25 years old he still has plenty of time to develop and improve his numbers.<\/p>\n

Once Cunha and Mbeumo are confirmed, Ineos can shift their full attention towards signing a striker and Viktor Gyokeres has emerged as a top target.<\/p>\n
