The United States Men\u2019s National Team are back in action tonight as they take on Switzerland in their final tune-up before the 2025 Gold Cup<\/a>. The USMNT<\/a> are coming off a 2-1 loss to T\u00fcrkiye over the weekend and hope to get back in the win column against the Swiss.<\/p>\n

The USMNT will be without Tyler Adams, who has a \u201csmall issue in his foot,\u201d according to head coach Mauricio Pochettino. Adams is expected to rest a couple of days as they try to manage the knock in the hopes he will be ready for the Gold Cup. Pochettino also said that the players who played 90 minutes against T\u00fcrkiye will likely not be in the starting lineup tonight, though some of them could get playing time. But, tonight is another step that the team can take towards becoming the team they need to be to compete and win in the Gold Cup.<\/p>\n

Switzerland is a tough team, with lots of World Cup and Euro experience. That will mean the USMNT need to take it to another level, avoid the mistakes that cost them against T\u00fcrkiye, and start to gel and create chances that can turn into goals. They\u2019ll hope to turn it around and end their three-game losing streak this evening in Nashville.<\/p>\n
