<\/p>\n Prince Harry once grabbed headlines with his cold four-word response when a reporter asked if he liked his UK visits.<\/a> His sharp reply resulted in more questions than answers, reigniting controversy. The incident took place during his solo trip home in May last year to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games<\/a>. <\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n As reported by the Daily Express<\/a>, a cameraman screamed from the crowd, “Are you happy to be home?” Harry laughed and gave a non-committal answer: “Nice to see you,” as he got into his black Range Rover. Harry was dressed smartly and had a smile on his face the whole time, as reported by The Mirror<\/a>. Despite his upbeat appearance, a reunion wasn\u2019t on the cards as his father, King Charles III, had cited prior engagements and refused to meet his son during the visit. The Palace explained that the King’s schedule was packed, having just returned to royal duties following his fight with cancer. <\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n This wasn\u2019t the first time Harry was questioned about his return to the UK, and he responded poorly. While discussing his bombshell memoir Spare, on Good Morning America, Harry faced a pointed question from host Michael Strahan\u2014would he and his wife Meghan Markle ever return to their former roles as senior royals? Harry, in response, bluntly stated, “No, I don’t think it is ever going to be possible. Even if there is an agreement or an arrangement between me and my family, there is that third party that is going to do everything they can to make sure that isn’t possible. People close to William previously revealed that after Charles\u2019s cancer diagnosis, William is ready to take on more royal duties if needed, but he won’t trust Harry and Markle. As reported by the Daily Express<\/a>, a source said, “Whatever has been discussed between William and the King is private, but it is absolutely and categorically clear that he (William) would not allow Harry to return. He thought it was a bad idea at the time, and he\u2019s even clearer now.\u201d<\/p>\n Article continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The person added, \u201cThere is a zero percent chance Harry is coming back in any capacity.” Meanwhile, according to historian Robert Hardman, the late Queen Elizabeth II never gave up on the idea of peace within the royal family. She held on to the belief that her grandson Harry might one day find his way back to Charles and William, mending the royal rift.
