Alright, team, strap in. It’s Georgie on WT this week. I’m in a mood and it’s been a hectic week of racing. There is much to discuss and mention, so let’s get into it.<\/p>\n

It’s been a busy week at both the WorldTour level and other circuits, and stage racing in particular is in the midst of a buildup to the two most important objectives of the year, starting with July’s Giro d’Italia Women. What did we learn from recent races?<\/p>\n

Tour of Britain<\/p>\n

I can’t help but watch the racing in Tour of Britain over the weekend and not draw comparison to Game of Thrones and the Battle for the North. Each day we watched in dread as another favourite suffered either injury through crashes or ill-luck. The culmination of the event was enthralling, with Movistar and FDJ-Suez giving main character energy. It was like George R.R. Martin was pulling the puppet strings from above. <\/p>\n
