\"ROCThe first of four ROC the Block<\/a> Community Employment<\/a> Fairs is set for Wednesday at the International Plaza on North Clinton Avenue.<\/p>\n

Once a month for four months, ROC the Block brings employers and recruiters to a centralized location. Wednesday\u2019s event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Employers taking part include the University of Rochester<\/a>, Walmart, the Rochester City School District, CDS Monarch, city of Rochester, Monroe County<\/a>, ITEC Training & Education Center, HCR Homecare, FedEx, Bausch & Lomb, Access VR and Wegmans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Organized in block-party fashion, ROC the Block employment fairs provide a relaxed atmosphere where job-seekers can learn about employment opportunities.<\/p>\n

Future fairs are set for:<\/p>\n

\u2022 July 16 at the Rochester Public Market (280 N. Union St.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Aug. 20 at the Salvation Army (100 West Ave.)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Sept. 24 at Parcel 5 (285 E. Main St.)<\/p>\n
