Ruben Amorim has promised Manchester United fans that major improvements will arrive for next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no disguising that the 2024-25 season was an unmitigated disaster for all involved.<\/p>\n

To finish 15th in the Premier League is simply unacceptable and Manchester United<\/a> must respond next season. The struggles were not a shock, with Ruben Amorim warning that a storm would come<\/a>, leading to plenty of suffering on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Well now, United have struggled for long enough and Amorim has told fans the good times are coming<\/a> during his post-season speech at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amorim retains the full faith of the club<\/a>, with Ineos backing him in the transfer market with a deal to sign Matheus Cunha already secured<\/a> and a deal to also sign Bryan Mbeumo being worked on.<\/p>\n

United are also looking to sign Viktor Gyokeres<\/a>, with the striker emerging to be Amorim\u2019s number one striker target.<\/p>\n

Gyokeres owes a lot to Amorim<\/a>, explaining that his move to Sporting CP was the best decision he ever made in his career. Due to this, it is no shock he would be keen to repeat it with a move to United.<\/p>\n

Amorim has always been full of praise for Gyokeres<\/a>, making it a match made in heaven. With the deal being hotly debated, it is worth looking back on Gyokeres\u2019 comments on Amorim and the mindset he installs, as quoted by the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think when you\u2019re in that kind of moment where you keep winning, you go in with the same mentality as every game and you keep doing the same things and with the same rhythm,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what we felt when we went into the games. It\u2019s possible to have those kinds of moments, I don\u2019t know if we would have kept the same level throughout the season, because I think it\u2019s very normal in football for there to be stages of the season when you maybe win every game and then there\u2019s a period when it\u2019s tougher.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, we always have the mentality of wanting to win every game, but as we\u2019ve seen in football, it doesn\u2019t always end that way. I think it\u2019s very difficult to go through an entire season without losing a single game, as you can see in history, I don\u2019t think many teams have done it. It\u2019s one thing to win a lot of games and another thing to go a whole season without losing a game.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gyokeres highlighting the mentality that Amorim demands from his players is interesting and tells Ineos one reason Amorim is the man to restore the club to the top of the game.<\/p>\n

Amorim will want his players to go into every game believing they can win, which has not been the case for too long. It is by instilling this mentality that Amorim will get the club back where it belongs.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim will want to overhaul his Manchester United team<\/p>\n

If Ineos can sign all the names being linked with United right now, Amorim will have a team capable of competing for a top four place next season.<\/p>\n

This is the case in terms of the quality of footballer that United are recruiting being massive upgrades on the current players who have struggled to 8th and 15th place in the previous two seasons.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s targets are all huge personalities who work hard and are hungry for success. These players will all work hard for Amorim and give the head coach a team filled with the character he needs and has been lacking during the opening half season.<\/p>\n
