The email from the RTVSLO Communication Department reads:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cWe would like to inform you that participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) is not included in the annual program plan of RTVSLO for 2025. After careful consideration, we have decided that we will participate in the project in 2026 either.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Slovenia participated in Junior Eurovision in 2014 and 2015, but withdrew from the 2016 contest citing changes to the contest\u2019s rules. Since then, Slovenia has not participated in Junior Eurovision.<\/p>\n<p>Junior Eurovision 2025<\/p>\n<p>Junior Eurovision 2025 will be held on December 13 in Tbilisi after Andria Putkaradze gave Georgia their record-breaking fourth victory with \u201cTo My Mom\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A number of countries have either confirmed their participation in Junior Eurovision 2025 or signalled their intention to compete. These countries are:<\/p>\n<p>In addition,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurovoix.com\/2023\/11\/23\/lithuania-considering-junior-eurovision-return-from-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lithuania<\/a>\u00a0is examining their return to the competition in 2025.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurovoix.com\/2024\/12\/11\/estonia-will-not-compete-at-junior-eurovision-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estonia<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eurovoix.com\/2025\/03\/07\/germany-withdraws-from-junior-eurovision-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Germany<\/a>\u00a0have both withdrawn from the competition. The following broadcasters have confirmed they have no plans to return:<\/p>\n<p>Image source: junioreurovision.tv | Source: RTVSLO<\/p>\n<p>Slovenia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest<\/p>\n<p> Slovenia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2014, when Ula Loz\u030car finished 12th with 29 points with the song \u201cNisi sam (Your Light)\u201d. Lina Kuduzovi\u0107 with the song \u201cPrva ljubezen\u201d was chosen to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia. There she placed third with 112 points, which is Slovenia\u2019s best result in the competition.
