As well as <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/hartcliffe\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Hartcliffe<\/a>, the Penhill area of Swindon is also on the list, as is an area in Maidstone in Kent. Each neighbourhood could receive &#8216;up to \u00a320 million&#8217; each as the individual projects progress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">It is not yet clear exactly how much money Hartcliffe will receive, or what it will be spent on, but a spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government said the plan was to invest in the community over a long period of time, and have the community at the heart of the decisions about what needs to be done.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cNeighbourhoods will lead the way in community-led regeneration and renewal, receiving long-term investment for communities and early support to prepare for investment from a dedicated team,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) will work with partners from across the sector to help crowd in investment and provide a direct link to Whitehall \u2013 making sure that places that have been too easily left behind are no longer ignored.<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE: <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/south-east-bristol-ranked-among-10254448\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parts of Bristol rank among worst in England for opportunities for working class kids<\/a>READ MORE: <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/z-hartcliffe-26-and-more-4621914\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The A to Z of Hartcliffe &#8211; 26 (and more) things that put the heart into the &#8216;Cliffe<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThis investment will support communities to drive forward the changes they want to see in their neighbourhoods. Labour is determined to change that,&#8221; they said, in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The Government\u2019s Spending Review has allocated up to \u00a320m of long-term investment to Hartcliffe to bring about the change that local people want to see. This just goes to show the difference a Labour Government can make.
