Casting for the next James Bond<\/a> will be well underway now that Amazon MGM Studios has hired David Heyman and Amy Pascal to helm the reboot.<\/p>\n

Despite the Broccoli family selling their creative control, fans remain hopeful for the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson<\/a> and Henry Cavill, who have grabbed the attention of EON Productions in recent years.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, former 007 Pierce Brosnan<\/a>, who starred as Ian Fleming\u2019s spy in four movies, has shared that one of the bookies\u2019 favourites \u201cwould be wonderful\u201d in the most coveted role in Hollywood<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, the 72-year-old initially said: \u201c I have no picks. I shall leave it open to the powers that be. It\u2019s a very exciting moment in the history of James Bond<\/a>. Now that Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G. Wilson, former franchise producers] have relinquished the reins of it.\u201d However, when his MobLand co-star Tom Hardy was brought up, he changed his tune.<\/p>\n

Brosnan replied; \u201cOh! [Laughs] Tom would be wonderful. There\u2019s so many great actors out there who could portray this character. I have no idea who, I have no idea. I wish whoever it is great success.
