Ltd., known for its flagship brand MetaShot, has raised Rs 2 crore via convertible <a href=\"https:\/\/indianstartupnews.com\/tag\/debt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">debt<\/a> from KITVEN Fund (Karnataka Information Technology Venture Capital Fund), the Karnataka Government&#8217;s Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The capital will be used to drive growth and support market expansion.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in January 2025, the <a href=\"https:\/\/indianstartupnews.com\/funding\/bengaluru-based-gaming-startup-metashot-raises-rs-11-crore-in-a-seed-round-8660625\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">startup raised Rs 11 crore<\/a> in a combination of equity and debt funding led by Sauce.VC, along with Sharrp Ventures and Panthera Peak Capital. Before that round, it\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/indianstartupnews.com\/funding\/gaming-startup-metashot-raises-pre-seed-funding-from-ipv-and-angels\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">raised $400,000<\/a>\u00a0in a pre-Seed funding round in 2023 led by Inflection Point Ventures, with participation from an early-stage gaming focussed fund and prominent angel investors<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2021 by Prince Thomas, Ranjit Kumar Behera, and Ajith Sunny, MetaShot delivers a console-like experience to a broader audience through its homegrown technology, which is currently under a pending patent.<\/p>\n<p>Its flagship product, the MetaShot Smart Bat, tracks real-world cricket shots in real-time and seamlessly integrates them into gameplay within the MetaShot app. The startup&#8217;s long-term vision is to build a platform that merges physical and virtual play across a variety of sports-based games.<\/p>\n<p>Shri P.
