There is concern in Denmark over Rasmus Hojlund as the country prepares for a crucial 2025\/26.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Denmark attempt to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, there is a little extra pressure on Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> to set himself up for a successful season.<\/p>\n

The striker says he wants to stay at Old Trafford<\/a>, with up to seven different clubs interested<\/a> in his signature. His recent international experience<\/a> may have played a helping hand.<\/p>\n

Hojlund was dropped for the game against Lithuania and after his replacement scored, the Danish media warned he has lost his place<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now with Manchester United strengthening in attack, Hojlund is being warned his days at the club could be numbered.<\/p>\n

One of the troubles Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> has faced at Manchester United is that he has been the first choice, left to shoulder the burden of leading the attack at a young age.<\/p>\n

If United sign a new striker it could suit Hojlund. But in a World Cup year, and with United needing to sell players for profit, his days could be numbered.<\/p>\n

In Denmark he is being warned to face up to the looming reality of his situation.<\/p>\n

Viaplay expert\u00a0Allan Kuhn assessed United\u2019s transfer activity and told Tipsbladet<\/a> \u201cCunha is a 10 for me, he is not a nine. Mbeumo is clearly best when he plays out wide in a Salah role. So I don\u2019t see him as a competitor either.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut if you say that Gyokeres is on his way to Manchester United, then Hojlund must think \u2018okay, then a lot of my playing time will disappear, and then I\u2019m at least not number one as a nine\u2019, which he hasn\u2019t earned with the season he\u2019s had this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo if that happens, I can easily see that Hojlund thinks that he will have to find another place to play next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Viktor Gyokeres situation on hold<\/p>\n

Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres<\/a> has emerged as Manchester United\u2019s top striker target, if common ground can be found on a fee.<\/p>\n

United have made contact with Gyokeres\u2019 representatives<\/a>, but Sporting are disputing<\/a> that there was an agreement that he could leave for a \u00a363 million fee.<\/p>\n

If a deal could be reached, Gyokeres would certainly limit Hojlund\u2019s potential playing time. The Swedish striker is coming off a prolific season<\/a> and is high in confidence, with experience, everything Hojlund lacks.<\/p>\n
