\n Simone Malik, a relative of former One Direction star Zayn Malik, produced the artwork, and hoped that it would raise money for Cancer Research UK at auction.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Malik told the Telegraph and Argus: “I have always had an interest in the royal family.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is an area of expertise of mine.\n<\/p>\n
\n “As an artist, we always like exploring other avenues.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I sat down doodling on a piece of paper and I just thought let’s push the boundaries and see what I can get.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Usually you are inclined to do something very accurate.\n<\/p>\n
\n “But I thought this won’t be, let me change the dimensions of the face and ears.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Let’s see if I can still create a likeness of the person when I do that.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I enjoy that something that is not an accurate portrait can still look like that person.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is just a trick of the mind.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I want to do more and more of these of more royal family members, and eventually hold an exhibition.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I would love to sell the work and give the proceeds to Cancer Research UK.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Lots of people around the world are affected by this horrible disease.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It takes great strength of character to overcome it, as well as medical science.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Two key members of the royal family are affected by the disease, so why not use my creativity to try to get something positive from it?”\n<\/p>\n
\n She added: “I have shown it to family and friends and people have had fun with it.\n<\/p>\n
\n “People have been very engaged in it.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is very different from my usual style.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It looks amateurish in certain areas but it is a certain style of art.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Art is very subjective, so different people have different tastes.”\n<\/p>\n
\n One family member who was yet to see the artwork was Zayn.\n<\/p>\n
\n Simone said: “Zayn has not had a look.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We have been busy with family weddings.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Zayn’s cousin recently got married.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We have not seen much of him at all in the last few years, I think he has just been very busy, but we do see his sisters.\n<\/p>\n
\n “He has made the Malik family really proud.\n<\/p>\n
