later.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Owls\u2019 owner has come under fire from supporters in recent months following financial issues behind the scenes.<\/p>\n<p>It was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/football\/articles\/c0k3rnyp4nmo#:~:text=Sheffield%20Wednesday%20have%20been%20charged,to%20fund%20their%20cash%20requirements%22.\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a> by the BBC earlier this month that the club have been charged by the EFL due to their failure to pay wages on time for the second occasion in three months.<\/p>\n<p>There has also been speculation surrounding a potential takeover, with The Star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.co.uk\/sport\/football\/sheffield-wednesday\/dejphon-chansiri-rejects-us-consortium-bid-sheffield-wednesday-5101723\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">claiming<\/a> that the Thai businessman has already rejected an offer from a US-based consortium.<\/p>\n<p>                        Lee Hendrie makes Sheffield Wednesday ownership squad and a very good manager.<\/p>\n<p>He believes a sale has to happen sooner rather than later, but is unsure whether the owner will receive the kind of offer he\u2019s really looking fair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve got a good squad, very good manager, but yes I do feel that someone I think should come in and invest in <a href=\"https:\/\/footballleagueworld.co.uk\/tag\/sheffield-wednesday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChansiri, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s very well liked with fans, etc.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, yes, I think he needs to sell sooner rather than later, but I know that he would like a lot more money than probably what is on offer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>                        Sheffield Wednesday\u2019s Championship campaign<\/p>\n<p>Sheffield Wednesday narrowly avoided relegation straight back to League One in 2024, coming 20th in the table.<\/p>\n<p>But Rohl across the EFL.<\/p>\n<p>However, supporters are now at a stage where they\u2019d rather the risk of someone else coming in instead of sticking with Chansiri, and it\u2019s hard not to see why given the late payments of wages.<\/p>\n<p>These issues behind the scenes will damage the club\u2019s reputation, and make it harder to attract players and coaches that could improve the team.<\/p>\n<p>It remains to be seen whether Chansiri will receive an offer to his liking, but fan pressure could help force him into accepting a deal sooner rather than
