Check out the preview posts below.<\/p>\n<p>The trio released their ninth and latest studio album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/muse-will-of-the-people-review-3296896\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Will Of The People\u2019<\/a>, in 2022. Tonight (June 12), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/matt-bellamy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt Bellamy<\/a> and co. will kick off a run of European tour dates \u2013 marking their first shows of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, the band have been sharing a series of cryptic posts on social media \u2013 seemingly pointing to their next era. Muse unveiled what appears to be a clip from an upcoming music video last night (June 11), along with the caption: \u201cBack at it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The footage is soundtracked by a filtered and distorted snippet of an unknown track. However, the title \u2018Unravelling\u2019 is quickly displayed on screen in the closing seconds. These include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/muse-to-replace-kings-of-leon-at-mad-cool-2025-3865823\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mad Cool in Madrid<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/muse-confirmed-to-replace-kings-of-leon-at-nos-alive-2025-3866262\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOS Alive in Lisbon<\/a> \u2013 where they recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/kings-of-leon-cancel-uk-european-shows-caleb-followill-freak-accident-3865491\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">replaced Kings Of Leon<\/a> on the line-up \u2013 as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/linkin-park-korn-muse-scorpions-turnstile-knocked-loose-lead-massive-hellfest-2025-line-up-3821000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hellfest<\/a>, Pinkpop and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/muse-to-headline-opener-amidst-huge-2025-european-summer-festival-plans-3859865\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open\u2019er<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Back in February, bassist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/muses-chris-wolstenholme-teases-work-on-new-album-3836957\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wolstenholme opened up about the future of Muse, and suggested that the band were thinking about a new full-length album<\/a> \u2013 which could be arriving next year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019re gonna start work on the next record fairly soon,\u201d he said, explaining that the group weren\u2019t signed to a label at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think for the last few albums we\u2019ve been with Warner and we\u2019ve extended after each album,\u201d the musician continued. \u201cWe may do the same again; we may go with a new label, who knows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for when fans could expect the next Muse LP, Wolstenholme revealed that they would be starting work \u201cvery, very soon, like in the next couple of months\u201d. \u201cI would imagine that 2026 will be a new album, barring any disasters,\u201d he commented.<\/p>\n<p>He also suggested that Muse could take longer to release new records in the future. \u201cI don\u2019t think we can be banging out new albums every two years like we used to,\u201d he said, adding that the group needed the \u201copportunity to reset a little bit\u201d between projects.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Muse are teasing their forthcoming new single, \u2018Unravelling\u2019.
