Manchester United need to sell players this summer, with winger Antony potentially bringing in cash for Ruben Amorim\u2019s rebuild.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The end of the season is in sight, and Ruben Amorim<\/a> will be looking for major changes at Manchester United<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amorim has yet to bring consistent results to Old Trafford<\/a> and will want major signings to turn the club around.<\/p>\n

United want Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Wolverhampton Wanderers, whilst Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike is on the Old Trafford radar<\/a>, too.<\/p>\n

The problem is that United may not be able to splash the cash this summer \u2013 especially if Amorim can\u2019t secure European football for next season.<\/p>\n

United will need to offload players in order to add new faces to Amorim\u2019s squad, with loaned-out players primed for the chopping block.<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford is unlikely to have a future at United, whilst Tyrell Malacia has been criticised at PSV Eindhoven<\/a> and is likely to be moved on even if the Dutch side don\u2019t sign him permanently.<\/p>\n

Then there is Antony<\/a>, who has been the big success story from United\u2019s loan exits in January.<\/p>\n

Antony joined Real Betis in January and has found some great form with his move to Andalusia.<\/p>\n

The Spanish media praised Antony<\/a> for his display against Barcelona last week and his record of four goals and four assists in just 14 Real Betis games has been seriously impressive.<\/p>\n

The Mirror<\/a> now claim that Real Betis have made an offer to extend Antony\u2019s loan deal by another 12 months.<\/p>\n

However, United have rebuffed that approach and seemingly have no intention of allowing Antony to leave on loan again.<\/p>\n

Real Betis may struggle to fund a deal to keep Antony, especially permanently, but United have stood firm on that idea of an extended loan.<\/p>\n

Manchester United right to avoid Antony loan<\/strong><\/p>\n

United were happy to send Antony on loan in January, but surely won\u2019t be open to a similar arrangement this summer.<\/p>\n

Antony\u2019s stock has arguably never been higher since joining United from Ajax in 2022.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian wide man struggled at Old Trafford and was ultimately sent out on loan to Real Betis in order to get himself back into form.<\/p>\n

That plan has paid dividends, with Atletico Madrid now keen to sign Antony<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

United want \u00a340million for Antony and may have a chance to actually rake in that kind of cash off the back of his Real Betis form.<\/p>\n
