Christian Horner has declared his \u201cheart and soul\u201d is with the Red Bull team, squashing any suggestion he could opt to depart for a rival squad.<\/p>\n
Horner has been the team principal at Red Bull since the Milton Keynes-based outfit joined the F1 grid in 2005.<\/p>\n
The Briton has overseen eight drivers’ titles and six constructors’ championships, as well as moving to fourth in the all-time race win list.<\/p>\n
Recent rumours placed Horner in the running for a senior role at Ferrari, while the departure of Oliver Oakes from Alpine saw Horner’s name as a contender to take over at Team Enstone while also becoming a shareholder.<\/p>\n
Horner confirmed he has had approaches for his services in the past – but signalled he has no interest in departing Red Bull.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously, over the years, I\u2019ve had different approaches, and it\u2019s always flattering to be associated with any other team as they\u2019re all great teams,\u201d he told PlanetF1.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut my heart and soul are in this team. I\u2019ve invested a big part of my life in it, and I feel a responsibility to the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Horner is also overseeing the start of a new chapter for Red Bull in 2026.<\/p>\n
The team is constructing its very own engine for the first time, doing so in partnership with Ford as fresh power unit regulations come into play.<\/p>\n
As he looks to a fresh era for the team, Horner detailed his excitement in continuing to lead the project.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a group of 2000 people, and I\u2019m really excited about what the future holds in terms of building our own engine. That\u2019s very much the next chapter for us, having it all under one roof. You know, how many people have done that?<\/p>\n
\u201cSo that\u2019s a massive challenge but a great opportunity and something, as an organisation, we\u2019re very excited about.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe people are what make a team, and that\u2019s who I feel a tremendous attachment to.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cBoth in the team, obviously, and the shareholders that have supported, the sponsors and partners \u2013 we now have 58 partners that I\u2019ve been responsible for bringing into the team, and we have a great relationship with so many of those partners.
