Emmerdale<\/a> fans have just come across current star Louise Jameson<\/a>\u2019s original role in the show.<\/p>\n The actress is known for her role as Mary Goskirk<\/a> in the ITV<\/a> soap, who she has played since 2022.<\/p>\n Last week, the character announced to daughter Rhona (Zoe Henry) that she was taking a short break<\/a> to stay with her sister, in the wake of her fall-out with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick).<\/p>\n The two ended up at loggerheads when she discovered Mary was the person Suzy (Martelle Edinborough)\u00a0had kissed before she died.<\/a><\/p>\n Mary hoped by giving Vanessa space, it would give her time to heal.
