Liverpool romped to the Premier League title and are looking to beat their rivals to it again next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reds\u2019 20th league title was certainly historic but it does not mean they will rest on their laurels, especially as other teams will strengthen.<\/p>\n

Manchester City have already brought in three new arrivals to try and rekindle the \u2018Citypool\u2019 rivalry, while Arsenal will also be trying to recruit some reinforcements.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have come close in the past to winning their first Premier League title since 2005, but a top-quality number nine is what they have been missing.<\/p>\n

However, despite needing additions at the top of the pitch, they are keeping close tabs on a player that will help prevent goals down the other end, and it is a player Liverpool<\/a> have also been tracking.<\/p>\n

A young centre-back has been high up on the Reds\u2019 agenda for a while now, especially as Ibrahima Konate\u2019s Liverpool future is in doubt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dutch influence that can be seen also appears to be a trend Arne Slot is willing to continue, with Ajax\u2019s Jorrel Hato a player Liverpool have been tracking<\/a> recently.<\/p>\n

However, they now face stiff competition and Fabrizio Romano<\/a> has confirmed that Arsenal are one of the clubs asking for more information in case they think a move is viable.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom what I\u2019m hearing, since the Dean Hujlsen deal didn\u2019t happen for Chelsea or Arsenal, both clubs remain interested in Jorrel Hato,\u201d Romano explained on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cMy understanding is that in the last week, after Chelsea in recent weeks, Arsenal started calling to be informed about the situation of Jorrel Hato.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Hato\u2019s links to Liverpool have gone quiet lately, they could be reignited, especially if the Reds sell Jarell Quansah, who is wanted by Bundesliga clubs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hato is one of the best young defenders in world football, making it no surprise to see so many clubs after him.<\/p>\n

Captained by former Liverpool player Jordan Henderson<\/a>, Hato\u2019s skipper previously said<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s crazy how young he is, but obviously how mature he looks when he\u2019s on the pitch and also off the pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a very mature person. Works hard. Fantastic player. And yeah, he has a bright future ahead of him, I\u2019m sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hato\u2019s versatility is also a huge plus for any side that sign him, with the 19-year-old often playing left-back, but also having the ability to play a more central role. <\/p>\n
