Florian Wirtz is the name that has dominated most of the headlines since the summer transfer window was opened. <\/strong><\/p>\n

At the start, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester City were all linked with a potential move<\/a>, but in the end, Wirtz<\/a> chose the Anfield outfit. <\/p>\n

Since then, negotiations have been ongoing with the only thing left for the Reds and Bayer Leverkusen to agree upon being the final transfer fee for the German. <\/p>\n

At the moment, it feels like Wirtz\u2019s initial fee will be worth around \u00a3100million<\/a>, with the add-ons being the last area of the deal needing to be negotiated.<\/p>\n

Seeing as though the transfer is set to break Liverpool\u2019s club-record fee, money will have to be earned from player sales, with one Liverpool<\/a> man believing he\u2019ll be the first on the chopping block after Wirtz\u2019s arrival. <\/p>\n

Luis Diaz believes he will be sold once Florian Wirtz arrives<\/p>\n

Much like Wirtz, Luis Diaz\u2019s future has had a lot of questions hanging over it<\/a> for the last few weeks. <\/p>\n

Barcelona have had their first offer rebuffed by Liverpool, with the Catalan outfit the most likely to acquire his services. <\/p>\n

And, as per a report from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, \u2018sources\u2019 who are close to Diaz<\/a> believe he only has his eyes on playing for Barcelona next season. <\/p>\n

The report goes on to say that the Colombia international doesn\u2019t feel \u2018appreciated\u2019 by the Merseyside outfit and wants to make the switch.<\/p>\n

Mundo Deportivo also add that those close to Diaz believe that Liverpool will \u2018facilitate the departure\u2019 of the attacker to \u2018compensate\u2019 the fee they\u2019re set to spend on Wirtz. <\/p>\n

Even though Liverpool may have a hefty chunk of change to spend in the summer transfer window, when \u00a3100million is being spent on a player, some funds will have to be recovered. <\/p>\n

Players such as Jarell Quansah have been linked with a move to the Bundesliga<\/a>, with others such as Harvey Elliott suffering similar fates. <\/p>\n

And, even though the sale of the aforementioned duo would likely suffice, the fact that Diaz wants out of Liverpool outlines why his sale would make the most sense, even though he was described as an \u201coutstanding<\/a>\u201d player by Jurgen Klopp. <\/p>\n

He\u2019d also bring in most of the initial fee spent on Wirtz, which would help the Reds balance their books massively. <\/p>\n
