ZANESVILLE, Ohio<\/strong> \u2014 A new wellness center has opened in Zanesville, aiming to provide a safe, noninvasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light and color to improve mood, energy, inflammation, sleep and stress management.<\/p>\n Z Energy sets out to use light therapy to improve stress, pain, depression, anxiety and other health ailments.<\/p>\n \u201cLight therapy is using color, light and sound therapy here at Z Energy and it\u2019s all based on frequencies, so frequencies run on water and liquids. The more you have in your body the better the frequencies work. Ideally, we want you to come in, relax in one of our recliners and fall asleep. We recommend the two-hour sessions,\u201d owner Jennifer Eubanks said.<\/p>\n Eubanks says people experience a variety of results. Z Energy is personal for this family, as co-owner Scott Eubanks says his light therapy journey began because of his issues with back pain.<\/p>\n \u201cI started because of issues I have with back pain, inflammation and nerve damage. It ultimately led to, I would almost say depression, so I had physical issues and then some mental issues and then after discovering one of these centers I mean it was life changing. I went from feeling terrible mentally and physically to feeling 90% better so much so that I was a skeptic until I tried it, until it worked, so we decided to start our own business,\u201d owner Scott Eubanks said.<\/p>\n
