Apple Watches and other fitness trackers have become wrist mainstays on millions of people’s wrists in the last decade. Not only do many consider these digital timepieces to be stylish, but they can also track workouts and give you a deep insight into your health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Brand new models of the Apple Watch start at around \u00a3429, although the Series 10 is currently on sale at Amazon <\/strong><\/a>for \u00a3299, but you can get away with spending a lot less if you don’t mind going for an older model. Wowcher currently has an excellent deal on the Series 4 model, with refurbished versions<\/strong><\/a> selling for \u00a389.<\/p>\n

This model<\/strong><\/a> was released in 2018, and despite looking a little more chunky than the models of today, it largely retains the same visual design language as the modern equivalents. With a squared-off touchscreen and digital crown, the uninitiated would have a hard time telling the Series 10 and the Series 4 <\/strong><\/a>apart.<\/p>\n

This refurbished Apple Watch series 4 is a modern smartwatch designed for adults who lead an active lifestyle. With a 40mm or 44mm wrist size and a sleek rectangular shape, this watch is perfect for anyone<\/p>\n

Of course, there are some differences under the hood to be aware about. This older model doesn’t run nearly as quickly as the newer models, and the device is no longer receiving iOS updates with it currently stuck on WatchOS 9 instead of the latest 11.<\/p>\n

However, if you’re just looking for something to use to check notifications and record the odd workout, it’s more than capable<\/strong><\/a>. You’ll just need to make sure you keep it charged up each day as Apple Watches aren’t renowned for their extensive battery life, even in 2025<\/p>\n

Remember, these models have been owned previously and restored by professionals. This means you may see some signs of cosmetic wear, but the actual Apple Watch should function exactly as it’s supposed to.<\/p>\n

If you’d rather go for a brand new smart watch, you could opt for the more budget friendly CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2<\/strong><\/a>, which is waterproof and has GPS functionality. It’s available for \u00a355.99 at Amazon right now.<\/p>\n

These devices are being sold through Renew Electronics, which has a somewhat dubious 2.3 star review score on TrustPilot. Some customer reported having no issues with the seller though: “Can\u2019t really fault them. Ordered a \u201cgood\u201d Apple Watch Series 4<\/strong><\/a>, arrived a few days later than it advised but I think that was a Royal Mail issue, customer service good and helpful, quite a small deep scratch on the screen which you can\u2019t see when lit. Overall pretty good.”<\/p>\n

Another reviewer wrote: “Bought a cheap Chromebook from these guys \u2026 and for the price I paid it\u2019s amazing. Doesn\u2019t look like a refurb, runs well, and everything I needed was in the box. Great buy.” Another review reads: “My watch is like new not a mark on it, brand new strap. I have to say I\u2019m very impressed, slight delay in the delivery due to NYE but customer service was brilliant. I got my watch today and so far so good!”<\/p>\n

Some of the other reviews are less than positive though, with one reading: “Watch was more scratched and dented than I thought would be reasonable. The battery life is at 72% capacity which again doesn\u2019t last the day.” Another dissatisfied customer wrote: “Extremely pixelated around the edge of the watch, I don’t know how that can be sold on again.
