The Met Office said there will be sunny <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/weather\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">weather<\/a> from 10am until around 2pm on Friday, June 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">It will then change to partly cloudy from 3pm until 6pm and rain is set to hit at around 9pm. The Met Office said: &#8220;A mixture of sunny spells but also a scattering of showers. These generally less intense than recent days and easing through the afternoon. Breezy to start and warm.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Temperatures will reach highs of 23C and lows of 14C in Merseyside. The warm and sunny weather comes before thunderstorms are set to hit Merseyside on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to hit the region on Saturday, with up to 8cm of rainfall in parts and &#8220;strong gusts&#8221; of wind and hail forecast. The Met Office has warned the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/weather\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"weatherLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">weather<\/a> may &#8220;lead to some disruption&#8221; across <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Merseyside.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The yellow warning comes into place from midnight on Saturday, June 14 and ends at 6pm the same day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A spokesperson for the<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/weather\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> weather forecaster <\/a>said: &#8220;Areas of heavy rain and some thunderstorms will move northwards across areas of England and Wales early on Saturday, reaching parts of southern Scotland later in the morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;After this first batch of rain moves north, further<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/weather\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> heavy showers and thunderstorms <\/a>are likely to break out in its wake. Rainfall will vary across the warning area and some places will avoid the heaviest rain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;However, 10-20 mm of rain is likely to fall in some places in an hour or less, with potential for 30-50 mm to accumulate in a few hours.
