AJ Odudu is back on our screens this week to front the latest season of Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> on ITV<\/a>, alongside fellow presenter Will Best. AJ, from Blackburn, has been a familiar face on our TVs for years, starting off as a reporter for BBC<\/a> Radio Lancashire, before she moved into presenting with BBC Two’s The Almost Perfect Guide to Life.<\/p>\n

After various roles on BBC and Channel 4, her major break came over a decade ago in 2013 <\/a>when she co-hosted on Channel 5’s Big Brother’s Bit on the Side and Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. Going on to have roles on The Voice UK, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Married At First Sight UK: Afters, many will also remember AJ making it to the final of series 19 of Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> with professional partner Kai Widdrington.<\/p>\n

In 2023, AJ co-hosted the Big Eurovision Welcome event outside St George’s Hall in Liverpool <\/a>with Joel Dommett and that same year, saw things come full circle when she bagged the presenter role on ITV2’s reboot of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, where she teamed up with pal Will Best. But when she’s not on screen or working on other projects, AJ, gives fans a glimpse into her stunning abode, The Mirror reports.<\/a><\/p>\n

A few months ago, the 37-year-old moved into her “dream home”<\/a> and is busy undertaking a huge renovation. More recently, she has shared photos on Instagram of the work so far and her beautiful d\u00e9cor. To keep track of her renovations, AJ also has a dedicated Instagram account – @homewithaj) – where she shares updates and inspiration with followers.<\/p>\n

So far, her home account has accumulated over 20K followers. In a home update in February, AJ shared an Instagram<\/a> post with a bundle of photos, providing a sneak peek inside.<\/p>\n

“In the caption, she wrote: “Home sweet (work in) progress! It\u2019s been 2.5 months in my new place and although unpacking has been a process, I\u2019m loving it.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s challenging deciding where to put everything knowing that it\u2019s all going to change but every day I wake up I think \u201cAS IF I LIVE HERE!!!\u201d Still can\u2019t believe it\u2019s mine.”<\/p>\n

AJ has already added her touch to the Georgian pad with a stylish reception room. It is decked out with a retro cabinet adorned with plants, quirky patterned seats, a monochrome circle coffee table and white shelves stacked with prints, books and disco balls.<\/p>\n

The TV star previously outlined her plans for the swish reception room for a no-TV zone. In a post, she shared: “The reception room, let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n

“I had initially planned for this to be my living room with a TV and all that jazz, but after living in the space for a few weeks, I have decided I love this room as a TV free zone. This will be the room my guests come into for good chats and a glass of wine.<\/p>\n

“Gorgeous lighting created by lamps, floor to ceiling book shelves, music, mini-bar vibes and an opportunity to stare at the original arch sash window that I\u2019m OBSESSED with!” One of the most striking features of the room is undoubtedly the arched window with white shutters at the front of the abode, which lets in copious amounts of light.<\/p>\n

Other standout features in AJ’s new home include the octagon mirror on the wall of the hallway. It boasts a checked black and white tiled flooring and panelled walls.<\/p>\n

An art-deco style mirror is fitted on another wall, with a retro record player on a table below. The chic white lamp to the side to add the perfect ambience.<\/p>\n

In other areas, AJ has added a touch of colourful artwork and even a running machine for those pre-CBB workouts. Throughout her home, she clearly likes to adds her own splash of colour, glam and style.<\/p>\n

And her home makeovers haven’t gone unnoticed by fans. Taking to the comments, one wrote: “The sash windows and shutters with the deco are to die for.”<\/p>\n

A second penned: “It looks amazing!!!” A third said: “Your home is looking fabulous AJ. You are fabulous AJ.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “OMG stunning!! If Alan Carr ever steps down from interior design masters you need to host!”<\/p>\n

One person said: “”Oooh looking so fab already!!” And another wrote:”Ooo looking sooo fabulous! Amazing how homey just a bit of furniture can make somewhere feel.”<\/p>\n

Celebrity Big Brother airs every night on ITV1 apart from Saturday nights.
