Canon\u2019s latest firmware and software updates let three EOS dual-fisheye lenses export Apple Projected Media Profile (APMP) video and Spatial Photo files\u2014giving Vision Pro users an affordable path to stereoscopic 8K-container (\u22484K-per-eye) content and signaling an even closer Canon-Apple partnership. Canon EOS VR System goes Vision Pro \u2013 let\u2019s learn more. <\/strong><\/p>\n Canon\u2019s newest announcement pulls its EOS VR System firmly into Apple\u2019s ecosystem. As of June 2025, Canon\u2019s dual-fisheye lenses and software can natively produce media in Vision Pro formats. The full-frame\u00a0RF5.2 mm F2.8 L Dual Fisheye<\/a>\u00a0and APS-C\u00a0RF-S 3.9 mm F3.5 STM Dual Fisheye<\/a>\u00a0now output APMP video, while the\u00a0RF-S 7.8 mm F4 STM Dual<\/a>\u00a0handles Apple\u2019s new Spatial Photo still format. Free firmware updates and a refreshed mac-only\u00a0EOS VR Utility<\/a>\u00a0let creators convert captured 3D footage straight into Vision Pro-ready files.<\/p>\n At\u00a0WWDC 2025<\/a>, Apple introduced visionOS 26<\/a> with built-in APMP and Spatial Photo support. Canon\u2019s update arrived in tandem: EOS VR Utility now converts 180\u00b0 stereoscopic footage (8 192 \u00d7 4 096 frame, ~4 096 \u00d7 4 096 per eye) into APMP QuickTime files viewable in Apple\u2019s native player.
