{"id":1820,"date":"2025-04-03T04:16:17","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T04:16:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1820\/"},"modified":"2025-04-03T04:16:17","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T04:16:17","slug":"palmer-jackson-kulusevski-more-fpl-injury-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/1820\/","title":{"rendered":"Palmer, Jackson, Kulusevski + more FPL injury updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We didn\u2019t hear from the managers of Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur before the Gameweek 30 deadline of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) \u2013 but we have now.<\/p>\n<p>Enzo Maresca held his press conference on Wednesday morning, while Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to in-house media.<\/p>\n<p>CHELSEA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicolas Jackson<\/strong> (hamstring), <strong>Cole Palmer<\/strong> (muscle) and <strong>Noni Madueke<\/strong> (hamstring) look set to return to action on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The trio were back in training over the international break, with Palmer returning from a much shorter-term absence than his two teammates.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cCole is back, he is ok. He is better. Noni is better. Nico is better. They are all good.\u201d \u2013 Enzo Maresca<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe reason why he was not with the international team is because, unfortunately for us, the day before Arsenal, he had a muscle problem that was not a big issue but didn\u2019t allow him to play the Arsenal game and join the international team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe always say that going with the international team is the best thing for a player but overall, I think some days off for Cole and also for the rest was a good thing.\u201d \u2013 Enzo Maresca on Cole Palmer<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Romeo Lavia<\/strong> is a doubt with a \u201csmall problem\u201d, meanwhile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marc Guiu<\/strong> (hamstring) and <strong>Omari Kellyman<\/strong> (hamstring) remain out, while <strong>Mykhailo Mudryk<\/strong> is still provisionally banned by the Football Association.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Maresca meanwhile said he would continue to manage <strong>Reece James<\/strong>\u2018 minutes carefully.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI still think that we need to manage Reece, the reason why is because of the history. He is a player that you need to be careful with in this moment. We want him fit until the end [of the season], so the idea is to manage him to the end and then we see in the future if we can go every day, every day, every day. But in this moment, because we need Reece until the end [of the season], we will try to manage him and probably do exactly the same until the end.\u201d \u2013 Enzo Maresca<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR<\/p>\n<p>Ange Postecoglou confirmed that <strong>Kevin Danso<\/strong> (hamstring) and <strong>Dejan Kulusevski<\/strong> (foot) remain out ahead of the clash with Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>We may not see the pair till Gameweek 33, indeed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cKevin and Deki are working still, they\u2019re probably still a couple of weeks away but both are progressing well.\u201d \u2013 Ange Postecoglou<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thursday\u2019s match may also come too soon for <strong>Richarlison<\/strong> (calf), who is at least back in training.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cRichy\u2019s training with the group.
