A whopping \u00a3208 million was up for grabs in the EuroMillions tonight – but did anybody win?<\/p>\n
Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw had no winners which meant the jackpot rolled over into tonight’s draw. It also means it would be the largest prize awarded in the UK if won by a single ticket-holder, National Lottery<\/a> operator Allwyn said.<\/p>\n Tonight’s winning numbers are 2, 28, 40, 43, 45. The Lucky Stars are 3 and 7.<\/strong><\/p>\n The EuroMillions<\/a> jackpot is capped once it reaches 250 million euros \u2013 or \u00a3208m. The extra money is used to boost the prize pots for the prizes beneath. Allwyn said there were no winners in tonight’s draw, meaning the jackpot will roll over again to Tuesday, June 17.<\/p>\n Seven tickets that matched five numbers and one lucky star scooped \u00a33.6m. Of those seven winners, five are from the UK.<\/p>\n Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn said: “With 13 guaranteed new millionaires, and potentially the nation’s biggest ever National Lottery winner, it’s the perfect time to defy superstition and take a chance. The unluckiest day of the year might just become a day you’ll never forget.”<\/p>\n He added: \u201cThe EuroMillions jackpot is now capped, so any money that would have gone into increasing the jackpot now boosts prizes in the next winning prize tier. It means that we could see multiple UK players banking huge prizes for matching just the five main numbers and one Lucky Star.\u201d<\/p>\n If you won, the world would be your oyster.
